Client Advocate

Rick has been a Client Advocate at Hope Centre since 2010. As a result of having suffered a lifelong disconnect with his own father Rick became determined and passionate about motivating a new generation of young men to learn from their past. Besides his personal struggles, Rick draws from a lifetime of experience which includes forty-two years of marriage and the raising of five daughters and one son. When Rick is not touching the lives of men at the Centre, he can be found cooking, gardening, doing home DYI projects.

Client Advocate

Annette was raised in the Bancroft area in a Christian family. Her childhood was filled with spending lots of hours outdoors which fostered memories of feeling God’s presence in these times. She would see Him through nature and knew that life was precious and God had given her a purpose. This is one of the first ways that God spoke to Annette's heart and drew her to Him.

Program Director

Claire has been working in this position since 2015 and is a great match for her role as she loves making anything and learning from others. As a child she travelled to many parts of the world with her father’s work and developed and interest to learn new things about different cultures. As an English woman abroad she feels very much a part of the team and considers that a privilege. The other joys of her life are her husband and two adult children and their partners. She and her husband became grandparents in 2015 and enjoy spending time with their family.

In her free time, Karen loves to read, sing and hang out with her friends and family.

Christina has been working at Hope Centre as bookkeeper since 2015. She completed her degree in Accounting in 2018, the same year she married her husband Micheal. She feels privileged to work in an environment where people are being affirmed everyday. When she is not busy playing with numbers, Christina enjoys biking, baking, playing board games with her husband, and spending quality time with friends and family, including her nieces and nephews.
